I really don’t see anything that we have done this offseason to improve this team.

FA wasn’t any better. We pick up a decent “when healthy” veteran and an aging TE. I do like having Watson back but I don’t see him being a game changer.
We pick 2 CBs to throw into an already crowded backfield and a RB that we plain out don’t need.
We’ve ALWAYS found solid depth backs in UDFA. This guy ain’t no Ingram.

Please point out some positives
As long as you continue to pre-game-bang your old lady for good luck, we got nothing to worry about, Dude.

We didn't have many needs to fill. However, I feel our weak link among all of our strong points is Ingram. You won't get to a super bowl without successfully running the ball. And if it's not successful and SP keeps at it for a whole half, then we find our offense stalling and waiting until the second half to get anything going. We could be going to LA against that rams defense in the playoffs and how do we get by that without running the ball well? It's imo put up or shut up for Ingram next season. No more stalling at the wrong time or in every big game. Some will say the defense should have done this or that, but running the ball makes everything easier

For 2017 MI had over 1100 rushing yards (ranked 5th)
Rushing avg 4.9 (ranked 4th)
Rushing TD 12 (ranked 2nd)

More impressively he put up those highly productive numbers while splitting time with Kamara.

How on earth is Mark the worst of the best in this offense ? He's already "put up". You guys are reaching.

Saints ranked first for rushing yards per attempt 4.7 (tie), 5th in total rushing yards 2070 and led the league in rushing touchdowns 23 by a good margin.

Mark Ingram was fifth in the league in rushing yards 1124 and fourth in the league in yards per attempt 4.9.

Looks to me like the Saints and Mark Ingram put up. I'd say that is "successfully running the ball".

Let's take it a step farther - The offense did fine. Our real weak point was at TE and even that was okay by them adjusting the offense. If you were to really boil it down, it comes to the position we spent two draft picks on. If Davenport pans out, we're off to the races!

I'm from the future. We win the Super Bowl and have both the number 1 ranked offense and defense.

I can’t believe there’s still people who give Ingram a hard time. He’s about to become the Saints all-time leading rusher and he’s an absolute role model on and off the field.

WS81, are you referring to the end of the season when Kamara went out? I think the offense as a whole had to work through that dip. No TE and Kamara out left us with one solid RB and 1 solid WR. Not may options.
