If anyone thinks McPhearson is going to come in an challenge Aaron Brooks for the starting job .... Gerry V. said you're "out of your mind."

Said McPhearson isn't even going to be the 2nd QB this year. Said McPhearson couldn't even beat out Todd Bouman for the back-up QB.

Said McPhearson is as "raw" as they come. It's going to take years to get him where he needs to be.

Don't shoot me. Shoot Gerry V. ;)

I can agree with that. But having a 21 year old quarterback on your roster, who has talent and a high ceiling, can only help in pushing the other QBs we have on the roster.

I can agree with that. But having a 21 year old quarterback on your roster, who has talent and a high ceiling, can only help in pushing the other QBs we have on the roster.

I don\'t really disagree with Gerry V. But, I think IF Brooks goes down and Bouman struggles, I think McPhearson might get thrown into the fire sooner rather than later.

I remember Brooks in that same exact situation. Brooks was about as \"raw\" as they come, too.

I\'ve been saying A-Mac is too raw for us to be passing the hat for AB\'s ticket out of town. I can see A-Mac getting some reps, due to poor reserve QB play, though

until the point in which we develop him and then decide to give him to another team in our division....
