They are going to take the double off him and that's going to open a bunch of holes for Jordan to come with it.

For that to happen, the interior line has got to do a much better job with their pass rushing...

When you factor that the NT1 and DT3 are struggling and barely commanding one-on-one blocking, it's really amazing what Jordan's been able to accomplish...

But the guy that's gotta help Jordan is the one that lines up next to him and that's the DT3, Rankins and he's not been the interior force as advertised...

I don't know about that jp. Rankins missed half his first year and played a lot of DE last year. Neilsen should help him take that leap in his third year where he can concentrate on DT. At least that's what I'm hoping for......that and continued growth from Onyamata.

Davenport better be as good as his pick #'s was. Or they all better step up. We definately need a spark in that middle.

See, I've read the opposite. Rankins hasn't posted numbers but he IS drawing attention away from Jordan. Just ask Jordan.

Personally, I'm looking for more from the other side - Onyemata, Davison, (now Bromley) and the DE rotation.

Two sacks? You'd expect Rankins to get more than just two (2) sacks...

Jordan is going to have his boy's back.

When Rankins is double-teamed, he's getting rolled up, not holding nor pushing the point of attack...

Believe that was the reason D.A. went with the larger, stronger Onyemata and moved Rankins to defensive end to get some production out of him...

While it's not the Holy Grail, Rankins was even graded by PFF behind not only Onyemata, but Davison as well - ouch...

Am with y'all and hoping Nielsen can somehow turn this coal into a diamond...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
