Taysom is the next QB of the Saints. Does anyone think he doesn't have what it takes to do so? He's more mobile, stronger and faster than Brees. He's learning the playbook from the master. We don't know about his accuracy at the NFL level yet but that's only because he hasn't played much. I don't think He should be over hyped but at the same time I don't think what people are saying about him now is more than necessary.

I've read that he's looked up and down so far. His accuracy is still an issue apparently but he is working with Drew every day. He's bound to learn the different techniques for throwing a ball whether it's a slant route or back shoulder fade. Right now I think he has to beat out Tom Savage for the number two QB and clip holder. Payton wants a vet with game experience on the roster every year.

Wouldn't overlook Savage and the Payton/Lombardi effect...

But Taysom Hill will be 28yo when the season begins and he's very comparable to a Steve Young style skill set...

And now Hill has the benefit of an entire offseason with Payton, Lombardi focused on developing Hill, so if he's got it, those coaches will find out...

Steve Young praises this guy. I believe he is a champion in the making and if the saints don't keep him he will take another team to the superbowl.

He's a very good backup. We are lucly to have him. Hopefully next year we never have to use him as is the case for all backups but we have a good one.

Nothing against the guy but there is going to be a lot of disappointed Taysom Hill fans at the conclusion of training camp.

If you haven't read the article, Underwood includes some short film embedded with Tweets on UDFA WR Keith Kirkwood - amazing hands, big target/catch radius...
