We're allready ahead of the curve...

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Seems like everyday when I look at NFL.com...some other guy is holding out...for some OTHER team...it's nice to know if anything, our team is showing they want to play.. McKenzie better not make me eat my words......

I\'m glad you brought this up. I think many times we are overly critical of the Saints or think that things going on with the team are wholly different than what is going on with other teams.

Now, I\'m not saying there aren\'t things unique to our team. We do have Benson running things afterall. But as far as dealing with players and such, it seems like all teams have very similar distractions.

Three biggest threats to hold out this season were McKenzie, Horn and (now that he may not be traded) Howard. I\'m pleasantly surprised it looks like all three are on board without *****ing too much.

Good points guys.

Sometimes we do get upset at our FO, like we\'re the only ones with infantile players, hold-outs, contract disputes, need for upgrades, failed draft picks, and so on.

It is good to be reminded once in awhile that it really just is par for the course in the NFL.
