My vote goes to Dalton until Deuce shows me some more. Put Dalton on this Saints team and he\'s Marshall Faulk.
A couple more years success from Deuce and he\'ll easily pass Dalton. If he can stay healthy that is. But he\'s not there yet.

I was going to post it too spkb25, but then I didn\'t want anyone to feel so :casstet: when they saw it. So funny... if he was better than or anywhere as good as Deuce, they wouldn\'t have drafted so many different guys to try to replace him... Dunbar, Brown, Heyward, Bates... goodness how long could this list be.

It sure was good to see some of those old names from the day...

Hilliard was one of my all time favorite Saints, and will always be. But Duece, when in shape (Danno), is far and away a better back. He is like a fine blend of Hilliard, Mayes, and Heyward all mixed together--enough power to bowl over a LB but enough elusiveness and speed to break a 60 yard run.

And Jonathan Sullivan, when in shape is probably a really good DT too.

thats funny papz. i know what you mean. and i think deuce in 4 years has already met hilliards career rushing numbers. danno you have no argument at all. but hey it was a good try. i mean what else does he have to do to be better than hilliard. especially when he already has the same numbers. but hey he isnt there yet, huh?

well in his young 4 year career he has 34 more career yards then hilliard. and he isnt better? i love hilliard too but man it isnt even a contest. had i looked at the numbers before i would have said this right away. but with me having been so young back then i didnt know or remember. when i became a saints fan i was 12. that was 87. he only played a couple of more years and only a very few times without his knee problems after that

another thing deuce has been over 4 yards a carry every year in his career. hilliard went over 4 yards a carry twice in his career.
