Can you name this player?

Going by a bio or write up, let's see if anyone can name the player mentioned. If you do, you get to choose the next player. Leave the name out, but you must leave some clues as to who the player is, like position or such. Leaving the college in is optional. Here we go:

Quote:

Totaled 288 tackles (177 solo), seven interceptions, 1/2 sack and 21 passes defensed. Also returned 20 kickoffs for a 28.5-yard average, ranking second on the school's career-record list...As a senior in 2001, ranked second on team with a career-high 116 tackles (71 solo), three interceptions for 29 yards, nine passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks and 10 kickoff returns for 295 yards and a touchdown...As a junior in 2000, was All-Ohio Valley Conference second team pick with 98 tackles (54 solo), three interceptions for 43 yards, eight passes defensed, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, three blocked kickoffs and 10 kick returns for 275 yards (27.5 avg.) and a TD...Was an All-Ohio Valley second-team selection as he played cornerback as a sophomore in 1999
Quote:

has the ability to make a big contribution to the Saints if he can improve his concentration and eliminate mistakes. With 4.58 speed and 6-1 1/8, 220-pound size,
Hope that's enough.

I got one for ya. Who\'s this guy?

Positives: Extremely talented player with huge growth potential. Great burst off the line and can defend equally well against the run or pass. Should project as a late 1st round pick. When on his game can be a disrupting force along the line.

Negatives: Fat lazy bastaad who\'d rather eat all flippin\' day long than even attemp to actually earn a freakin\' dime of whats sure to a huge signing bonus given to him by some unsuspecting sucker of a GM.

Kyle Turley it is ... I was afraid the surfing would give it away, but the former label was the death knell.

Take it away, whodi!

Hmm ... I have no idea. Can\'t think of any \"fat lazy bastaad\'s\" that coach Haz would allow to stay on our roster. Haz usually cracks down on \"locker room cancers,\" so we certainly can\'t have anyone like that EATING away at our cap room...

Danno, :xxrotflmao:

mutey, Turley was my first guess, but for some reason the surfing made me think of Naole. Okay, former saint:

Quote:

was Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year after recording a team-high 96 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 16.5 stops for a loss, three fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and two passes defensed as a senior in 1994, his only season as a starter at .............. Prior to sitting out his junior year in 1993, he contributed 30 tackles and one sack as a sophomore in 1992.
Quote:

did not play in 1991 after transferring from Los Angeles Southwest Junior College where he was an All-Southern California Conference first-team and all-state honorable mention, registering 88 tackles and 16 sacks in 1990.

Who\'s profile is this?

Quote:

Very instinctive guy. Has big hands. But even bigger pockets. And speaking of pockets, better watch yours. This guy is a thief!!

Very quick to the bank with a hot check. Might be better served to drive the get away car, though.

Poor decision maker. After this career thief got convicted for stealing, he then went on to get arrested for betting on his own football team.

Should be a nice fit in New Orleans ... on Bourbon St. picking pockets.

Who is this folks? LOL

Hopefully no one gets offended by me calling McPhearson a thief.

At least when I call McPhearson a thief, he really is a thief. A convicted one at that.

I\'ve been reading up on McPhearson and the more I read about him the more I think he\'s not only a theif, but a big LIAR.

McPhearson claims he never bet on his own team but he sure sounds like he is a LIAR.

LIAR + THIEF = NOT GOOD!

saintswhodi --

WOW ... it sounds like me bashing McPhearson is really upsetting you?

If it\'s me bashing McPhearson that is bothering you, then I\'ll stop. I don\'t want to bash your \"hero\". Hero? Isn\'t that what you called him?

In any event, I was just playing around when I made up the \"fake\" profile on McPhearson. Much like what Danno did with one of the other profiles.

Guess you never know who will get upset.

Good thig you aren\'t a Brook\'s fan. You would stay upset.

No matter what thread you are in .... there they are ... Brooks\' bashers everywhere.

Alright, here we go...

Not gonna tell you if he\'s a former or present Saints player at this point, that\'s just TMI. How about this guy:

Quote:

Has the bone structure to carry an additional twenty pounds with no loss of quickness … Has very quick instincts to read and react … Moves through traffic with force, able to locate the ball in an instant … Makes great use of his strong upper body, able to deliver a crunching hand jolt when shedding … Uses his hands to sift through traffic, showing a sharp burst when accelerating off the edge … Has the balance and body control needed to avoid low blocks … Has good zone awareness, showing good depth on his drops … Sound tackler who lowers his shoulder properly before delivering the hit … Quickly fills the inside rush lanes, displaying balance as he moves down the line in pursuit … Has a crisp, controlled backpedal, opening his hips properly to turn on the ball … Takes good angles working in space … Has the flexibility to counter blocks when attempting to close on the quarterback … Plays low to the ground, playing with classic wrapup tackle technique.

Negatives: Little undersized, and this poses problems at times, as the bigger blockers generally cover him up … Lacks the bulk to stay inside, so he must play off the line in order to be effective … Tries to run through blocks and does not have the strength to develop consistency as a blitzer … Gets tied up at times and is slow to shed … Falls off tackles working in space, as he seems to be unaware of the receivers moves through routes.
A little more...

Quote:

Four-year starter who led the nation in tackles per game average the last two seasons … Regarded as the best athlete on the team, he boasts the highest strength and conditioning points total (bench press, squat, power clean, dips, pull-ups) … One of the most vocal characters you will ever find on the football field, has more than backed up his \"chatter\" over the years, totaling a school career-record 492 tackles (276 solos),… Registered 12 sacks for minus-90 yards, 33 stops for losses of 147 yards and 21 quarterback pressures … His 12 sacks are tied for ninth while his 33 stops behind the line of scrimmage are topped only by ..... & ..... on the school\'s all-time record list … Caused nine fumbles, recovered six others and had 15 pass deflections … Only ..... caused more fumbles … His six fumble recoveries are surpassed only by ..... on the team\'s career-record chart … Had at least 10 tackles in 27 of 45 games he has played in.
Makes him sound alot better than he probably is...
