Who's More Desperate Week 2?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd argue the Browns are. That makes for a dangerous game, even at home. They tied with a division rival. They've won 1 game in 2+ years. Desperation for a W...the Browns are coming. We better be ready for their ...

Desperation for a W...the Browns are coming. We better be ready for their best effort.

They're not desperate. They're not supposed to win. They just recently managed not to lose. They're on a roll. We, on the other hand, are reeling and who's more desperate is the question?

Re: Who's More Desperate Week 2?

Because the offense played as well as they did I expect us to play better. In past years both sides of the ball would be terrible for the first 3-4 games when we would start 0-2, 0-3, 0-4.

I just don't know if this defense can really turn it around overnight. I mean we looked like we did in 14,15,16...so yeah there should be concern that we caught lightening last year, played much better than we we're, and this will be the norm.

We could easily lose

Wasn't it like 4 years ago or 8 years ago that Colt McCoy and Rob Ryan were with the Browns and came to the Superdome and dominated us? Still have that L in my head.

Yep, it was in 2010, they had Fujita in tow and Brees threw 5 picks and about 3 went for TD's. They even ran a fake punt at their own 15 yard line and ran for about 65 yards with their punter.

Don't forget the 2014 one either, when we couldn't put the game away and Vaccaro busted a coverage with 40 seconds to go to set up their game winning FG.

Think Browns fans would disagree. If we won 1 & tied 1 in 2+ seasons I'd be desperate to see us just win 1 game.

They are supposed to start winning this year. Not Super Bowl train or anything, but this is their yr to climb outta the cellar.

Betcha they're ready to climb out of too much cellar dwelling to become relevant.

I'd say they are but they are catching us at the wrong time. Our team is pissed after last weeks debacle. I think we see an improved D this game.

We are going to lose for sure according to The Dude. We supposedly suck and won't win eight games.
