The Saints never had "bounties". They had a performance pool that paid out for big "legal" defensive plays. That is entirely different than the supposed "bounties" that Goodell (via Mike Cerullo) claim that entailed intentionally attempting to injure opposing players.

Big assed difference. We as Saints fans are doing no good in referring to what was truly going on (not against the rules) as "bounties". That just perpetuates the myth (lies).

Yes, and Goodell listened to patchy lies from a disgruntled piece of **** employee and blew something that was not even prohibited in NFL clubhouses into something sinister that Saints players would have been appalled at ... if it were to ever happen.

I guess we had a bounty with our rugby team then. And there was high respect and free beer for those players making vicious hits. Back in the old days there was only one sub allowed. If you took out two players you were ahead in this game by just the numbers Advantage alone.
