I really liked what I saw from Kirkwood and for what it is worth, everyone in the league knows Dez (intimately), there is only last nights tape on Kirkwood and that is a huge advantage.

They're getting a little salty in this thread too.

At this point the rest of the NFC South has to feel like the kid who's dad just sent to the closet for the belt, when they look at the end of their schedule.

As assbeatin is coming.. all that's left is how bad and the crying.

Damn its good to be a Saints fan. Im not going to lie though, I was worried about this game. This is the type of game we usually lose after a big win. Brees was having none of it and im finished doubting my boys.

Very proud of our performance yesterday. Our most complete game of the season. Took a while for us to get there but we're firing on all cylinders now.

The only bad part of yesterday's win was the fact I had to watch the rest of the Bucs game. The very few times I don't have to stream a Saints game it gets cut off because of the ass pounding we gave the Bengals.

One thing that I haven’t seen talked about much is Alex Anzalone’s transition to Mike LB. With Davis firmly entrenched at WLB, we’ve moved Anzalone to the middle and he’s taken Manti Te’o’s role as the base package Mike. Sometimes it’s AJ Klein coming off the field in subpackages and Anzalone is staying out there with Davis (he played 30 snaps to Klein’s 22 yesterday.)

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Anzalone’s performance has jumped by leaps and bounds these past few weeks. He currently ranks as PFF’s #16 LB.
