Hopefully this will become a trend. If philly doesn't renegotiate with T.O. and Winslow has to repay for attempting something stupid then maybe players will get their acts together. Hopefully if Fakir holds out we get money back from him as well.

We wont get money back from Fakir, but he won't get paid either. So it would be his loss. Loomis wont negotiate with him unless he is in camp!!

times-picayune

NO TALKS WITH BROWN: General Manager Mickey Loomis said he has not talked with starting right cornerback Fakhir Brown or his agent, Ted Marchibroda Jr., about a contract extension, and those talks are not in his plans.

Brown, who is in the second year of a two-year deal with the Saints, has not participated in the voluntary coaching sessions while asking for a new contract.

"He's under contract," Loomis said. "I have no interest in talking to him until he's here participating with this team."

It looks like a trend is starting. I hope we don't do a damn thing until he comes back. We have much bigger contracts to worry about than this fool.

..well, two things..

1. Riding a motorcycle was explicitly prohibited in Winslow's contract, and
2. The Browns front office seems to have what the Saints front office are lacking, i.e. a pair..

... you would think that not wanting to play has to be covered by some sort of clause in Sullivan's contract... but who am I kidding... this is the Saints f.o. we are talking about...

Too many players having total disregard for everything today. They should take all the money they gave him and cut his dumb butt. Plaxico getting arrested for unpaid taxes and that's just today. These guys are getting paid way too much and actually think they are role models for our youth today. The only reason why the youth today want to be like them is because of the money and if you take the money away we will really see how important some players opinions are, WORTHLESS.
