They are slightly more aggressive than that.
Sure, a team scores, but the drives have been lengthy and burn enough clock that it makes them basically useless.
A six minute TD drive in the 4th qtr when you are down by more than two scores?
By all means, have at it.
They’re bending but not breaking. I love it.

and on top of that, they're making plays when they NEED to. Timely sacks. Strip fumbles. Batted passes. Passes defensed. They're doing it all.
Barry from MS likes this.

Falcons are going to get yards on 90% of the defenses out there.
Historically, most passing records are set by losing teams. When you’re down 24-3 midway through the 3rd Q, and averaging less than 2 yards per carry on the ground, you’re only option is to throw, throw, throw. The problem is it’s not a secret. The result is 6 sacks, 2 QB fumbles, 1 pick and another game in the loss column.

Atlanta struck me as a poorly coached team. Their clock mgmt Suuucked. When a veteran QB is behind 31-10 with 9:27 to play and your not running a 2 minute offense, something’s seriously wrong.

True, but it looked like Dennis Allen was trying to keep everything in front, not a prevent but soft enough to give up short range plays and force them to eat clock.

Anyone else notice our offense is constantly waiting until the play clock is near zero before we snap the ball.

Our TOP must be great.

Yes I watched it close this week. Even when the clocks not running. They seem to be trying hard to be consistent with that. Timing was perfect this time.

Cam Jordan said Sheldon Rankins makes all the calls on the Dline. They call him "Mastermind."
