That is a great looking cover though lol. I don't believe in that stuff either, so I am not to worried. Brees is FINALLY getting his due respect and I am loving it.

Its BS all the records he has broken and never won the MVP. This has to be his year. I just want him to still want to play into his mid 40s after he wins the Super Bowl and MVP.

Screw a curse. The Saints were born in the land of Voodoo and if ya'll don't shut up I'm gonna put a root on all of you!

Brees and SP broke the SuperDome curse; it was built on an ancient burial site.

Re: Brees on the cover of Sports Illustrated

The way the 2018 Saints are built (talented and young) they are a SB contender as long as Brees is here. Sometimes, I get the feeling that all of this year's Brees MVP hoopla is the big market media's and NFL mafia's hope that if he gets the MVP he'll retire. Then the Saints can go back to being an average small market team.

He keeps playing three or four more years and he and the Saints will own the record book.

Would have preferred a real photo but yeah. Loving it. Good to see some momentum finally swinging his way. Lord knows he has been patient with the media after all this time.

If he could beat the Madden curse he's going to be fine after this cover.

Now excuse me I have to go outside, turn around three times, and spit.
