Maybe. But we don't need a short term solution...

Well we aren’t going to find a long term one via draft.

Dan Arnold is under contract and has just started playing the position since Summer; has showed excellent range and good hands; again, needs to learn how to box-out defenders in the NFL; that's one...

Josh Hill could be re-signed at an affordable price; veteran that know the system and will give stability to the tight end group; he's showed some inconsistency the past season likely due to playing injured; re-sign...

Ben Watson is done, next to nothing left in the tank; has to come off the field after running a route; inspirational at his age to do what he's even capable of doing, but it's obvious he's done; move on...

Would a reunion with Jimmy Graham been in the best interests of both parties - maybe; but, Graham's body seemingly aged faster playing outdoors in Seattle and now Green Bay; offer 3 Day contract to retire...

Fav Free Agent Target, Pittsburgh's Jessie James always on the wrong side of the coin-flip with the mercurial Roethlisberger, lacking chemistry; perhaps his production sees a boost in the Payton/Brees offense...

Reclamation project, Comeback Player that intrigues is Maxx Williams, a top flight TE prospect in his respective draft, Baltimore failed to develop the miscast tight end; again, Payton/Brees boost factor...

So far as draft picks, too early to tell with what few draft picks we now have which should probably be used to develop offensive line depth, maybe a cornerback that falls?!?
lumm0x and darksoul35 like this.

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

DAN ARNOLD, JOSH HILL AND BEN WATSON WERE ALL UN-DRAFTED FREE AGENT SIGNINGS.

JIMMY GRAHAM WAS DRAFTED.

Olson would be a better aging veteran option than Ben Watson but not much more than that. He's a class A guy though and I'd take him on my team any day. He's played long enough without a decent QB he deserves to see what a well thrown ball looks like.

I really think Olsen's career is pretty much over. The last two seasons have ended with an injury to the same foot including a non-contact rupture of the plantar fascia this season.
