MVP trophy may elude Drew Brees again

Hopefully this week Mahomes throws a Nothing Whopper Burger and Brees throws a 24oz T-Bone Steak with a baked potato with everything. We end up in the Superbowl and Kansas City stays home again.

Seriously. This is almost a non sequitur. It was obvious after the Dallas game that Drew had missed his chance.

I think it might be in the back of his head and it may make him play with a chip on his shoulder.

It’s just as likely for the SB MVP to go to a defensive player. Not to mention Thomas or Kamara.

Yeah, that throwaway INT vs Dallas on national television was bad as I think he only had one, maybe two INT(s) the whole season at that point...

But I believe it was that quiet December stretch that sealed it as the talking heads were in full momentum for Mahomes without as strong an argument for Brees...
