i think the a-mac pick was great and will pan out in the future, but this year he should be third string and they should give him the most work in the pre-season cause we know Boo-man sucks!!!

I think A-Mac has a good chance of beating out Bouman for the #2 QB spot. I really think A-Mac will be #2 by next season. I know the guy is talented, but I really don't see him taking the starting spot from Brooks. Brooks can be great at times, and the team will go into this season hoping that all the hype about him is true.

The only "truthful" thing that can be said about Adrian is that he's a great athlete. As far as being a great QB? Well, I personally don't think Adrian would start for any team in the NFL. This guy is about as raw as they come.

The arena league is nothing like the pro game. People like to point to Kurt Warner's arena league experience and make more of it than what it is. But its more like playing sandlot ball. Kurt Warner played a full college career and played NFL Europe.

From the many boards I visit, I find many times that Adrian is brought up as a "troll" post tatic. Who in their right mind really thinks McPherson will start this year? IMO, if someone does believe it (which I highly doubt) that person is very gullible. Posts like this are the kind that go bad very quickly. Usually its always the same members who dwell on the same subjets. Something that I've noticed is widespead here. This, IMO, causes the majority of the problems here. And oddly enough, some of the senior members are the biggest participants. (I'm not a knowitall. I don't pretend to know everything. Just my observations.)

Brooks is the starter and barring a disaster, he will remain the starter.

My take....it is not rocket science as some people seem to suggest. Yes, rookies will struggle. Some veterans continue to struggle. There is a learning curve, but the last time I checked, it is still football.

Will AM be able to step in right away. Probably not, mainly because he will never get the chance barring injury to AB. The question as to whether he could step in as a rookie and succeed will probably never get an answer. To think that it would be totally out of the realm of possibility for him to step in and and succeed right away is ludicrous. This guy has proven in his past that he is a very, very good athlete. Whether or not he can succeed in the NFL reamains to be seen...but it would not be unheard of for someone like him to get his shot early and never look back. It's like someone stated earlier. if someone like Warner can step in from out of nowhere and accomplish what he accomplished, then AM coming in and being an instant hit is not that much of a stretch of my imagination.

I don't think anyone made it sound like rocket science. I think most are making the situations sound exactly like it is.

Nothing is impossible, SaintsLB. Is that your point? Because it seems to be the only one you're making. I mean no offense by that. If that's not your point, then I really don't see one in your post?

Are you just upset that people are making it sound like a real longshot for Adrian to see the field this year? They're just telling it like it is.
