I voted no. If Brooks gets hurt then maybe he will. But he won't take it from Brooks this year without injury. The more I read about the AFL and the adjustments to the NFL I think the kid needs at least 2 training camps to start. I think if he did have to play he'd do OK, but would make some really bad decisions.
I love his potential, but he's got so much to learn.

I voted no -- only because I think Brooks is going to have a much better year -- maybe not a top 5 QB but certainly adequate enough not to have an unproven rookie step in. Injuries of course could change that.

You know, the last time the Saints went to the playoffs it was on the arm and legs of a young athletic street baller. Just a thought.

This will be his clipboard year and I wouldn't have it any other way... besides it's Bouman that's second on the depth chart.

I don't think he will start -- and I agree with the hype (but some people live up to the hype) -- but he has the right and talent to be in uniform and I would not be surprised if he overtook Bouman as the second QB
