...a bit early but I was curious to see how much interest I could drum up for starting a dues - keeper league. I haven't really enjoyed the free sites all that much in past years but rather enjoyed sites like www.rtsports.com If I can get say 12 of us here interested any more I figure we could draw names out of a hat or go by seniority here on the forum and we can let people buy in or out of the league after each season. We could come up with trophy's, rings for division winners and league winners even win some money if we set it up that way.

I use efsports.com, for my keeper league. It's cheaper than the one you posted, although the learning curve for the system is long.
Either way, I'm always interested in keeper leagues, if anyone else is willing, I'll try to organize something.

If anyone wants to play just regular free Yahoo, or ESPN(heard they were gonna be free this year or NFL.com, one of those is going back to being free), let me know. Not much into keeper leagues, although they are cool. So let BNB or Euph know if you wanna do keeper league, and I would be willing to set up just a free league on one of the free sites.

well I think for the free ones we should do similar to last year or have one person appointed as untimate supreme commissionor (USC) and everyone on this site sign up and have USC appoint commissionors for each and divide the ones who signed up to a league so that everyone plays for this site. The following year the winners can compete in a league, in order to get in the club if ya will ya have to win.

I nominate WhoDat for the free leagues. That way, he can honestly say he constributes to the boards as an admin. :p

We do several leagues every year. I nominate BNB to head up the the team on setting up the leagues. BNB, Pakowitz always helps with this every year.

Black and Gold sanctioned leagues -I like it.

yeah I know, and I have participated. Last year I was in two one was good because it war run by standing members here but the other I think was someone who just posted here and well that sucked.

I'd join... FF is pretty fun. Many friends of mine and I set up 3 or 4 different leagues every year that we run for about 50 dollars a team. The pot usually gets around 500 or so... and if anyone is interested give me a holla. 3rd place team gets their money back... second gets 100 and winner takes the rest. If some of you are accustomed to bigger pots, we also run 100 dollars leagues too.

Well, get the word out about the free leagues once it's ready Halo and I will definitely join.

And I win them every year... well, the last three in a row anyway. LOL

Hey BNB - you feel like showing up for any of those leagues this year? I mean, besides simply taking up a spot and losing... LOL

bro whatever the choice im down to get ina league this year. i have ben in the nfl.com leagues the last couple of years.

I was commish of our Brown&Root league for 13 years. I didn't play last year and it about killed me. I might be interested but I've never done it on-line.

Is it a live draft?

We will have fantasy football-a-plenty, just like last year. There were...what...8 leagues? Let's get back to the real topic, which is the keeper league.

I'd be in for a free league, not dedicated enough to pay for FF. Would call myself an experienced player - although my strategy in the B&G experienced league last year wasn't too clever.

We discussed it but there wasn't any takes... and if we do create this league its going to have to be regular members who come here over the years and have more of an interest in it. But I think setting up a paying league/keeper league would be great and owners can buy in or out if they like and we can add a new to to the mix but owners vote sort of like the nfl.
