Questions: Why so many points lost to an INT? Why is a fumble minus five, but if you lose the fumble it's another minus two? Shouldn't you only lose points if your team loses the fumble? Also, why so many positions? Just to get away from the norm? I like the flex positions, but I played in a league with 2 QBs starting last year and it was kinda a pain. Especially since you have to keep a third on the roster, and basically hope neither gets hurt. Figure there are only 32 starting QBs in the league, and only about 15 of them are worth starting in fantasy. So with 10 teams starting 2, you are already at 20, and will basically have a scrub starting for you two times in a year. Two defenses seems a little extraneous. Don't get me wrong, I like the majority of it, just these things stuck out to me.

Halo 06-10-2005 01:21 PM

AllSaints,

Thanks for your contribution. We will again have several leagues of our own this year (year 3) so I hope everyone keeps a place open for the blackandgold.net leagues.

Thanks

AllSaints 06-10-2005 01:40 PM

I think im gunna change it till after preseason

saintswhodi 06-10-2005 01:44 PM

Hey, I am in. I was in at least 8 fantasy leagues last year(won 4) so I will definitely have run. I like the changes. The draft is a bit early, so you should move it back, if you want. It's your league. But I am in. ratedgap@yahoo.com. Shoot me an invite.

RE: Any remaining openings I would love to play.

Two things:
* Right now a QB EARNS 3 points for getting sacked.
* I remember 2 years ago we played with return yardage. It was a little bit different, because points were awarded to team defenses, so that Kansas City (thanks to Dante Hall) could outscore Baltimore even if (actually especially then, because it gave them more chances to score on returns) their oponent racked up 40 points. Was a little bit ridiculuos. You'll have obscure players like Wes Welker or B.J. Sams contending for a starting position. If you find a starting DB who also returns kicks (like Terrence McGee) he may outscore Randy Moss.
