Pregame ratings are down. Therefore, network commercial revenue is expected to drop.

When a company as big as Coke pulls ads people start to get nervous. Look for one or two more

Translation: Viewership is going to plummet on this SB. The investment in a Super Bowl ad isn't worth it. Nobody wants to watch two teams that don't deserve to be there.

Re: Coca Cola pulls Super Bowl ads

Did anyone read the article? The headline was extremely misleading. Coke did NOT pull Super Bowl ads. They never planned for any during game Super Bowl ads this year. They bought one 60 second spot immediately prior to the kickoff that is going to broadcast their one and only planned ad. This was their plan all along.

Know this will get interpreted as a political comment, but I'm one of the last conservatives to still follow NPR/PBS and am amazed by folks on the other side of the aisle who read the inflammatory headlines and fail to read for the substance and facts (or missing facts) in an article or post...

People need to slow the f*ck down, take a breath, read, question, review sources and facts, re-read then present an informed opinion...

Exactly. And to relate it to our Saints, there are even people around here who still identify Sean Payton with the false accusations of Vicodin abuse. It is solely based upon early speculations by these same types of articles that the rumored "high ranking person in the Saints organization" being investigated for Vicodin theft was Payton. Yet, these same people were too lazy to keep following the story out to its end to find out it was Joe Vitt and how he went through the legal system because of the episodes.
