Jesse James makes the most sense, and I like the idea of adding him to the three we have already...

And if we go with as few RBs as we had this year, we can keep a FB and a fourth TE for jumbo packages...

The Vikings have only $7 million in cap space. TE Kyle Rudolph is going into the last year of his contract and turns 30 in November. The Vikings can save $7.62 million with no dead cap by cutting or trading him.

Would you be willing to trade our 2nd round pick for him?

Absolutely not.

It appears the Kurt Coleman experiment was a swing and a miss.

Earl Thomas anyone? A game changer on the back end.

Rudolph? No because I believe a healthy Dez Bryant and Cam Meredith significantly upgrade our receiving options. Dan and Josh are good enough to have 2 big games that exploit a matchup enough to win. We don’t need an all star TE.

What we need is to fill Rankins spot and fix a still-leaky secondary.

There's legit buzz of McCoy's offseason training association with Brees that if McCoy doesn't get a wow contract offer if released by the Bucs, he may do a short-term deal with the Saints...

Really don't care to have Dez nor Meredith back, they bring nothing that the younger Tre'quan Smith or Keith Kirkwood don't already have without the injury history, age, and more expensive cap numbers they'll bring...

Meredith's contract was essentially a one year deal. And Dez will probably be looking for a little more than tooth fairy money...

If Tre'quan can turn the jets on, consistently, as he did in Training Camp 2018, he replaces Ginn...

We need to get that third and move the chains underneath Lance Moore/Willie Snead guy more than we need two more outside possession receivers...

And we need to bring in a veteran front end Tight End to leave no doubts, before the draft...

A wildcard in all of this is Simmie Cobbs Jr. We liked him enough to sign him off the Redskins practice squad and keep him on the active roster. He’s another one of those big-bodied X receivers that could make Dez Bryant or Cameron Meredith unnecessary.

Disagree a little bit on Dez. Notwithstanding the other guys, I just have a feeling Dez presence on the field could be, well, if not a game changer certainly a significant addition...if he's healthy. I think he'd play for us for a more than fair price considering his age, his status, and the injury. It's not like teams were beating down his door.

This is what I'm saying. Meredith is done - this was another case where the Saints threw money away in a big medical gamble when Tight End, Offensive Line, or a Cornerback should've been shored up better.

At this stage of his career Dez is tracking down as well; he's not a speedster and he's never been one to go across the short, middle of the fields on third downs, so he's not gonna start now...

We have younger guys who's floor has been established and can only track up - why waste the time, money on retreads when we can move on to offensive line, RB depth, and CB depth?

And if we need anything, get a proven, healthy, Game Day Available, slot receiver veteran like a Adam Humphries or Chris Hogan that Drew can quickly build a rapport...

Not buying this at all. Meredith suffered a very serious knee injury. Sometimes, it takes 2 years for a player to get over that, both physically and more importantly ...mentally.
