Gotta ask who advised him that this wasn't illegal?!? Rival player, agent?

Know he only immigrated to Canada from Nigeria in 2011, but gotta think somewhere someone explained Schedule I prohibited drugs...

Then again, when I had my ear even closer to the rail when I lived in NO, knew of players that regularly used, but were never popped...

That is until they got mouthy in the press, weren't playing to their contract, or were up for a new contract...

Is he Rastafarian? He could always claim a religious waiver.....

Shame that a drug with 0 recorded overdose deaths is a schedule 1 narcotic, similar to meth and heroin..

Politics aside... DT was already a big need for us, this doesn’t change that.

I don't even smoke and I agree with u 100 percent. The dude had it in his apartment. Its not like he was driving around smoking it and selling it. He is still in the wrong and its extremely stupid that he would put his career at risk but don't they have something better to do than to raid peoples apartments for a little weed?

Drug laws aren't relevant when it comes to employer policy. Alcohol is legal and you cant show up for work drunk or under the influence. I can ride my motorcycle all the way to work without a helmet but must put one on to ride on company property.

Alcohol, THC, over the counter medications that can make you drowsy.. If it is detectable in your system, you are considered under the influence. An employer can mandate a policy that you must not be under the influence of any performance altering substance to preform your job....

From a safety perspective I wouldn't want my $30M QB on the field high with a bunch of 300+lb men trying to put him on his ass.

This is super bad news because of Rankins injury and our DT free agents. Onyamata and Davison were third or fourth or fifth rounders(I forget) that have developed in the system and will be coming up for a contract. Both are solid players who I like. Having said that I'd love a good DT free agent like McCoy to solidify the rotation and keep the pressure on until Rankins comes back and starts making impact plays again. Bromley along with the other rotational players were effective and was good enough I guess. We should have a good core group to move us back in the hunt for the Lombardi this year.

Jefferson Parish is known for it's hardlined stance on the sticky icky and yes I know from experience. My father worked for them.
