Possibly closer to Howard/Simon trade?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I wouldn't want to be a hotdog vendor at a Saint's game because you would know right where Sully would be, great observation Whodat. I really think this would be a good trade for the Saints if and only if ...

There was some talk a couple of months ago but nothing since so it makes you wonder what if anything is really going on.

I exclude Sullivan b/c he won't see the field unless somebody throws a hotdog from the stands.
Whitehead. The forgotten lineman.
He was injured 1/2 the season last year. Now he's healthy. If he's up over 300 now I think he may help out in the middle a lot.

I agree. Whitehead has been a great role player for this team for what seems like forever. I don't know if he really is that big. I can only comment from what I've seen in pictures. That said, he looked bigger than Grant and didn't look too small next to Sullivan... difference being that Whitehead carried most of his weight in his chest and arms, not a supple gut.
