this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe they should start playing rugby if it doesn't work out.....it doesn't pay as much but there is international travel and free beer! Edit: We have an international team, USA Rugby. which plays other countries but there is also professional ...

 Edit: We have an international team, USA Rugby. which plays other countries but there is also professional rugby teams that make a good salary. Just sayin' |

It is highly unlikely any football league has a real chance at making it. There is just too much money and power behind the NFL and college football, and these powerful wealthy people will never allow anything to interrupt their profit margin.

Pro sports has a lot of drama and can be like a soap opera at times cause the drama is entertaining at times. McMahon seemed to catch onto this and played it perfectly in the XFL. The NBA has the most drama of any pro sport in this country. Just look at all the stupid debates about LeBron James and over-analyzing of little meaningless things. Retired NBA players sound like bitter old men always talking about "back in my day, it was better". |
