I have been asked by Halo to come out of retirement to put together a game package for us. The last time we discussed this I think it was the Buffalo game most thought we should go to. Please let me know if this game is still good for most of you.

i don't really care which game.
however, before i fly in i need to know if the all expense paid 50 yd line plush suite supplied by halo will have unlimited booze and food along with those scantly dressed waitresses.............smitty

Same here - a time and a date. Last I recall, we had a topped thread, where a member piped in that he worked for the Saints organization, and could get us block seating. All we had to do was supply a date, and individuals could call in their payment info individually. Block seating will be held until one month prior to the actual game. That still sounds reasonable to me.

LOE, I believe you are right. I just wish I could remember who it was. If he is still around, I'd like him to get in touch with me. I want to get this set up as soon as possible.

JoeSam, the thread was "Attend a HOme Game with the Black and Gold". The member's name was CRUTON. In that thread, we pretty much had it all figured out. The only pieces we were still missing were:

1) which game (most picked Buffalo, I think)
2) how many seats to reserve (100?)
3) phone number to call in the payment info (each member pays direct to Saints office)

The seats will be reserved until one month before the game. Any people that haven't paid by then will lose out on the block seating.


I really don't want end zone or nosebleed seats..... but he said he could reserve some decent ones for us.

I still think this is a great idea. It's not likely that I will be able to attend, but if a date is established in the near future I might be able to swing it.

Lets get this thing started we need the dome to get real damn loud lets show benson n the other teams who r da best fans in da NFL. PLEASE SET UP A GAME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I have season tickets (section 503, Row 3, Seat 23 on the aisle). I would love to meet you guys at the game.

I believe the last time we spoke about getting together for a game this season, someone challenged me to a drinking contest. I can't remember who it was, but, bring it on! Let's have some fun!!

Count me in. I just moved back to the easy from Colorado. I would enjoy putting faces to the names around here. Don't let the small # of posts fool you. I have been here since '98 under various names.

I do regret Billy being gone. I would consider sitting near WhoDat and Gumbo during a game one of the highlights in my life. Imagine the discourse generated by those two in adjoining seats! Perhaps Whodi could be WhoDat's foil.

I wouldn't miss this for the world.

The game will be the Saints vs. Buffalo on Oct. 2nd. I am pounding out the final details now so mark your calendars and get ready to great some seats.

I am definitely interested, but as I live out of town, hope it will not be cost prohibitive. Let me know when pricing details are worked out, although I do recall someone saying they would buy up extra tickets. :wink:

I'm in the same boat as saintswhodi.

We got a discounted rate through the website and I am working directly with the organization. The tickets will be $30 a seat. Details and how to purchase will be available Tuesday of next week. I reserved a large block so please pass the word and don't be cheap, $30 is cheaper than going to a College game.

There will also be a huge tailgate before the game, and there may be an event in the Dome. Again I will know more next week but tickets should be for sale by next Tuesday.

Thank You Halo lets see what kinds of people we have here i hope we can get the dome going crazy, I read in today's newspaper that there will be more pre-game activities inside the dome there will be lights out when the announcer get ready to introduced the team I really think this year gonna be speacial Go Saints Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will be happy to drop by and say hello to everyone (I already have season tickets) and I am one of the ones who volunteered to by a few extra tickets -- Halo -- when you get the details I will be happy to send money and you can distribute them to a few worthy members who may be cash strapped --

Also -- Maybe we could get a loge room for the first half -- I would be willing to shell out the money for the room --- As for the booze package I am not sure the cost is worth it for the guys but who knows
