Considering the coin he's making now, the lifestyle afforded him, and the commitment to his profession AND to go back which is not easy alone and earn his degree - that's impressive...

That speaks volumes about his character and intelligence. I'm also impressed. I hope that he can put the sophomore slump following the Minneapolis miracle behind him and help lead the Saints for a long time. Hopefully, we will be able to run a two deep safety set now and limit his coverage to half the field. He's not the best center fielder although, he should be faster in support with limited responsibilities.

He was top-three-rated his rookie season (top rated safety rookie)...

Not sure what happened - maybe the DA effect like with Stephon Anthony?!?

Agree he was not his awesomeness that he was his rookie season; but haven't given up on him at all...

Aside from football, Marcus finished what he started. Got his degree in Sociology (loves working with children) from the University of Utah.

Awesome achievement & I'm sure his mom and dad are extremely proud.

Eh. Sophomore slump. He was murdering people in preseason last year. Just bought into the hype. He will bounce back. I think he will wind up having as good of a career as Lattimore. I doubt it had to do with shell shock from the Minnesota game.
