Check out where rugby player (yes, rugby player) Tristan Blewett played in his 1st Saints practice

Imagine never going past sixth grade and walking into a graduate class on a collegiate campus...

If coach can't make him into a baller no one can!

Learning curve pretty high. Just the rugby vs football instincts tough. May make special teams and get a chance to master this sport. Sure lucked out with great position coach

Payton the mad scientist. Always looking for a new angle to the game that no one has ever explored before. I love it!

Yep. Visionary, forward thinker (see Pierre Thomas/Kamara).

I know it's hard for a football player to break old habits when they start playing rugby. But learning the football concept has to be even tougher. I don't really know just how hard it is because I never played American football.
Edit: I was a late bloomer and was cut from every sport I tried in high school.

Rugby,

Do you still play Rugby at your leisure ? I live in Bedford (mid cities) and there is a large Polynesian (Tongans) influence who actually play on area Rugby clubs and also High School football.

These kids are LARGE.

They do that HAKA pre game ritual and scares the living s*** out of most of their opponents.

I retired from playing a couple of years ago. However, I'm still a full time referee that likes to play a friendly game of toss now and then.
Oh yeah, the HAKA will strike fear in opponents even at the grade school level! I've watched the New Zealand rugby team do it before they kicked the s*** out of the USA and it is intimidating as hell!
