The six teams most likely to miss the playoffs after making it in 2018-2019

This guy is freaking nuts!

Alright, let's talk some logic and some ground rules before someone reads this entire article and gets very mad online. First, getting to the NFL playoffs is very difficult. Making the tournament doesn't happen every year because of injury, schedule changes, and the game of football is difficult. It only happens consistently when you have Tom Brady as your quarterback, Bill Belichick as your coach, and three other teams in your division that bumble and stumble around every year consistently. So, don't take this as an insult. Second, there is always turnover in the playoffs. Sometimes team play over their heads. Sometimes teams that have high expectations fail. Sometimes it the schedule change and sometimes it's just like. What we are trying to do here is guess six teams that made the playoffs last year, but will miss the playoffs this year. Maybe all 12 teams make it back, but that's not likely. Maybe it's four teams that turnover. We created the number six and we are sticking to it. So, let's rank them.

Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens play in one of the toughest division in the NFL. The Browns are expected to make the playoffs this year. The Steelers are always good and get to play the no one...……….

I love his caveats "The Colts are on this list if Andrew Luck goes down. The Eagles are on this list if Carson Wentz goes down. We can't predict the future".....but let me try and predict the future anyway.

Truth is, most good NFL teams would have zero change of making the playoffs if the starting QB goes down. The Saint's, by contrast have a Pro Bowl QB as a backup. Sure, Teddy isn't Drew, but he is probably the leagues best No. 2 and history says he's better than over 50% of the starters in the NFL.

His points do make sense. Especially skill position depth on offense. It wouldn’t surprise me. It is the NFL and you play the games for a reason. I think injury would be the only thing that could keep us out.
I’m not convinced Brees has dropped off. He was having a career year until his line started to suffer injuries. Drew himself may have been hurt.

No mention of the Chargers though - THE most overrated team last year. I swear, the Chargers have more fans online than they do in L.A. I had to hear this crap for months on every forum how they were some legit SB contender and then people acted shocked and bewildered when New England dismantled them with ease.

I agree on Baltimore. The Ravens have this habit of cranking out elite defensive teams with lack luster offenses, and then disappointing in the playoffs. I don't know if they will be back in the playoffs unless Jackson develops more as a passer.

I don't think Seattle, neither L.A. team or the Texans will be back in the playoffs next year.

Dallas is the one team I am iffy on, cause their defense is legit but they are still coached by the clapper, which means if they make the playoffs, they aren't going far.
