Let me say this - I'd much rather gather with friends at a friendly watering hole/grille and than fight those seats and all the rules now in place...

It's gotten unbelievably expensive for a family of four to geaux; however, every fan should go to a real good, loud, soul-rattling game at least one in their lives...

Personal for a sec: For just over a year and half, I've lost four uncles, four aunts, two second cousins who were Aunts, six dear, young friends and my only brother...

When I attended one of the last funerals in that line - so far, I was asked where everyone was when I walked in - "there's no one left but Mom, and she's in ICU..."

If you can, pull an extra shift, eBay some junk around the house, have the kids do their part and cut grass - But Make It Happen, Make Those Memories Happen...

Don't procrastinate and find yourself making that same post again in a year if you can some how splurge and squeeze even some more zest for life...

Sorry your going through that. I appreciate the advise and I definitely agree. Years go by so fast now.

Don't misunderstand...

Appreciate, even touched by the empathy, merely crossed that line in this rare moment to give more credibility to my point that we should redouble our efforts to squeeze every drop of zest from this life...

If you take anything from that personal share - Make it happen!

I don't go to games anymore due to my health, mostly concerning my heart problems. It's not worth the risk, especially when our last 2 playoff runs have been filled with moments of making your blood pressure sky rocket.

I think I would like watching at home better too but the boys would lose their minds just being in the same building with the Saints. We live in Kentucky and all there is here is horse racing and UK and I am not a race fan. We usually get to a UK football game and a basketball game but the Saints run the show in this house.
