Kamara's balance is unbelievable, and is much faster than he looks because he's a long-strider like Eric Dickerson was. But if you notice, he's always gang-tackled or forced out-of-bounds by more than one defender...

Dickerson is a good comparison. A buddy of mine calls Kamara "what we wished Reggie Bush would've been". I've heard this so often that I end up repeating it myself.

Vision, change of direction, patient, elusive in space, strong lower body strength. Not many like him in the game.

Alvin is athletically gifted but a lot of that is God given talent.

Special player.

You forgot speed, and we all know that speed kills. Has he ever been caught from behind? I recall a number of plays where he seems to have just enough speed to out-run even pursuit angles. Makes you wonder how much he has in reserve.

HOF John Riggins said a RB's most important talent is his eyes...

I don't recall anyone ever running him down with success. It's like he has a rearview camera in his helmet because he could certainly be run down. He's not blazing fast but don't have to be with a slight angle adjustment.

NFL network did a Simulcam with AK, Fournette, Zeke, Christian McCaffery & Saquan showcasing 40 times at their respective Pro days. Quite naturally AK times last (4.56) out of the bunch ...

I've seen all RB's (Zeke gets caught by angles) with the exception of Alvin get caught from behind in a real NFL game. I guess that goes to show you that some players have speed and others have football speed.

I remember Bill Walsh went on record as saying that Jerry Rice (ran a slow 40 at his pro day) had the fastest 2nd gear he had ever seen in his life. If he got behind the defender, game over.

Same goes for AK ... he has a different level of speed that he can turn on and off when necessary. Just a graceful runner as if he's gliding.
