In your spare time, read up some of the reports from respected Vikes writer Arif Hasan (our equivalent to Nick Underhill) on Murray. Here's a quick quote ..

"Murray sports solid hands and excellent pass protection skills. At times his task was taking on DE's, not just blitzing linebackers. Still buys time at finding ways for his QB. He's had success in Oakland doing this as well in MN. I think he'll continue to do this in New Orleans".

Saints filled a hole & found a "fit" when we were not able to re sign Mark.

We're fine.

I've watched just about all his games the last few years. The Vikes and Raiders did let him walk for a reason. Good but not good enough to be the feature RB. We had two featured RB's.

Many players are allowed to "walk" Take Peyton Manning, he may have been a mere shadow of himself but went to back to back Super Bowls and even "Won" one.

Not really sure what your expectations are for a #2 back in NO. I've provided real NFL game stats & quotes from a beat reporter who is well respected and has broken down a ton of his game footage.

Murray pickup was a good scouting move & subsequent signing. Big bruising back who bowls over defenders. He is faster than he looks because he is a big guy. He is an excellent blocker and can catch the ball decent. He's also the type back who can take over a game in the 4th quarter and wear out a defense. He is also lethal on 3rd or 4th and one.

I loved Ingram but he's a Raven now. Turn the page, training camp is starting in less than a week & we have a Super Bowl to win .

Sean Payton is the most innovative, creative coach out there. Latavius will be just fine in New Orleans.

Edit ** The Vikes O line actually ranked 29th after 17 weeks of football in 2018.

Also Minnesota completely changed their offense after throwing the bank at Kirk Cousins. They went from a balanced offense to pass-happy and it didn't really do them any favors when Cousins stunk it up against good teams.

Agreed.... Ozigbo makes the team... and makes us forget about Ingram II .
