Unless the deals for Robertson, Banjo are re-worked, that's guaranteed money in Year One...

I'd be more interested in signing O-Line Depth and another pass rusher...

His 2019 hit is around $1.9M . Any negotiation point which include signing bonuses as part of the structure (as many big ones do) will result in the prorated hit if the contract is a restructure of the current contract. The other option is to "attach" the extension upon the remainder of the current contract, but then none of the money would be guaranteed in the 2019 season.

This is a real hairy contract. It is best for both parties that are involved to work out all the fine points.

Apparently he’ll be playing DE. At 6-3, 245 he’s pretty undersized.
