RE: The Deuce gettin some love!

I can already hear the b!tching. When Horn's numbers drop this season b/c of a switch in the offensive scheme, fewer passing attempts, and hopefully the emergence of Donte or god forbid a TE or 3rd WR, I am quite sure people will pull out their "I told you so" cards about Horn being over the hill.

Or maybe it will be cause Horn IS over the hill. Tim Brown and Jerry Rice sure seemed to fall fast when they did. but I am sure Joe can play til he is 47, right Who? :P

Hypothetical Whodi.

If Horn has 78 catches for 1,047 yards and 8 TDs - what will you say about his year?

I don't think there will be much of a drop off. Saints moving to a more ball control offense will free up the WR's more when you have to worry about the run more.

I would say, man those are worse numbers than last year. He must be slowing down. j/k. I won't say anything, cause there is nothing to say. I have no problem with Joe, I am busting your chops. At worst he can be a decoy as he gets older until he gets too expensive.

I THINK HORN HAS A FEW GOOD YEARS LEFT IN HIM. I WOULD THINK WITH HIS AGE HE HAS TWO GOOD YEARS LEFT. TWO REALLY GOOD YEARS. I LIKE HIM AND DEUCE. HORN PLAYS HURT AND IS ALWAYS UP FOR GAMES. I'LL TAKE THAT ANYTIME

.. If Deuce is getting it done, I don't see Horn complaining too much... I if the Saints are successful in establishing a dominant running game, I can see the potential for bigger plays by Horn, ..
