At what point should we start to worry? I don’t think he necessarily needs the practice but at what point is it an injury risk. I don’t care how good you are after a few months off the body needs to get hit . It’s hard for any player to go from the weight straight to live action without the benefit of progressively loosening the body.
Loomis needs to get this done. They know they are going to pay the man why not go ahead and do it before Julio does.

Re: Michael Thomas

He’ll be fine. Better that he sit out than end up like AJ Green or all of the Giants WR’s.

Re: Michael Thomas

Guy is the best WR in the NFL lb for lb. He needs to get paid accordingly. His catch consistency is through the roof, GOAT, better than Jerry Rice.

Anyone that is upset about him not showing up is selfish and ignorant on what he is actually doing in the game.

Just signed for 5 years / $100M. I really like Thomas but those numbers seem a bit scary to me. Hope he continues to perform and justify the investment.

Re: Michael Thomas

Great for Thomas but I don't like paying this kind of money to a WR. Without Drew his production will decline

Not scary at all. by the final year of his contract top WR's will very likely be getting deals worth $30M per year and still being around the same percentage of the total cap. Just ten years ago $10M was jaw dropping.
