what do you guys think of the raiders
 

man their o looks all kinds of scary this year. even with kerry at qb. their d probably looks equally as week but i think this team makes the playoffs this year. what do you guys think?

No way they make the playoffs, IMO. They'll continue to be good in the secondary, but pretty bad up front. They'll give up lots of rushing yards. It's real easy to run straight at Sapp and be successful.

Their O will be so-so. I say so-so b/c Collins is inconsistent, Moss is an up and down player, and their other WRs, while talented, are still fairly young. RB remains a question mark and I'm not sure of their line outside of LT. All in all - they'll be better, but still average.

I think they should move back to Los Angeles.

Too many questions still remain unanswered about the Radiers to give a sure fire prediction on them just yet, but if the d is decent, then they are going to make the playoffs. :evil:

No defense and all the offense in the world won't help. BTW, you may recall the talk about the Eagles trading Owens to the Raiders. The press asked Randy Moss what he thought of that and he said, "I don't have a problem with it as long as I get the catches I deserve."<p>
Well he won't...and when he doesn't he'll squawk about it in the media because the guy doesn't know the first thing about being a team player. I live in Northern California and many of us here can't wait to watch the Raiders go to hell in a handbasket. Al Davis still believes cast-offs from other teams can work out in Oakland. It doesn't happen anymore and hasn't for years. Davis is living in his own private Idaho and simply doesn't realize the game has passed him by.

We really can't say anything bad about their offense. All of the weapons are there. Norv Turner loves to go down field and with Moss, Porter, Curry, and Gabriel... it pretty much doesn't get better than that (besides the Colts of course). LaMont Jordan is a power back who also has the break away speed. They should be one of the most exciting offensive teams to watch.

On defense besides Ted Washington who's 34 and maybe Danny Clark, everyone else is either unproven or over rated. That includes the VASTLY over rated and over paid Charles Woodson. This should be one of the worse defenses in the league.
