to matter ----- TIME OF POSESSION === lets see -- this is a statr that both the offense and defense matters in -- the offense matters by how long their drives are -- the defense on how short the opponents drives were -- WHAT THIS MEANS -- both the offense and the defense are to blame --

Bottom line is that AB and Grant (i pick them because they are the keys and supposed leaders) should share in the blame -- perhaps this is why they got into an altercation after one game

Live with it AB lovers and bashers -- this is the true measure --

Now one can argue why the time of possession was so bad -- but why

I should clarify my point -- the time of possession argument is he same argument as the offense versus the defense -- both sucked -- ITS A TEAM SUCK though -- SO what I am trying to say is the offense is as much too blame for not scoring in the first quarter -- for going 3 and out most of the time as the defense was for giving up 200 yards plus against the run.

So - saying AB is part of the problem is fair -- just as it is to say he is not the only problem

I would pitch a tent on AB's front yard and sack his ass every time he came out for the Times-Picayune for the situations he puts me in week after week. :x

Nah bruh it doesn't work like that.

Are you to tell me that the kicker contributes as equally to a win or loss than say, a QB or RB. One typically puts 1 or 3 points on the board, the others can put as many as 35 in one game.

Yeah when one teammate loses they all lose, but that doesn't mean that there aren't individual players that are at fault for losses or responsible for wins.

And as much as you preach equality across the board the NFL doesn't think like that. A starting QB or RB is given more responsibility than say, a 4th string wideout who never sees the field. And if it was all about the team, wouldn't they have just traded the whole team during the offseason instead of trading individuals who weren't pulling their weight.

It isn't all equal....the fact is that some players are given more responsiblility than others.

Actually, kickers are the players that usually score more points than anyone on the team..

... for example, according to the NFL website, in 2004, 24 of the top 30 scorers were kickers. You don't see a non-kicker in the list until the 6th spot.

well when you kicker miss's an extra point... that is huge.

OK well in that case my point is proven still. I can't buy along's theory that every person has the same level of responsibility on the team....or that the coaching shares just as much responsibility as the offense, defense or special teams.
