This is the way to go. An NFL Defense is not prepared to deal with it. Say Teddy does mostly run plays and Hill mostly passing. Who saw that coming? That would be nobody. By the time they adjust reverse the rolls. That would be one screwed up defense I know that much.

If Teddy plays well, and I think he will, I would be a little surprised to see Hill. Exposing the only two QB's on your active roster to live action if you don't have to isn't the best idea. The worst case scenario has happened. Brees went down. Teddy hangs in the pocket. Hill exposes himself to hits willingly. Payton likes Bridgewater personally and his talent. He respects and appreciates him staying with the Saints. But, if it were a one game season, I really believe he would start Hill.

Does anyone here remember when Drew said "never let your back up see the field"? If he is willing to give up 6% of his snaps to Hill because Sean Payton wanted to throw off defenses why wouldn't coach use Hill the same for Teddy? When Drew went down I was surprised to see Hill still out there running routes but then found out he was also the reserve WR/TE.

Nonetheless, I believe that the Saints will follow through with the things that work for them and play both QB's to keep defenses guessing. We just brought up another QB from the practice squad so we do have some flexibility.
