Rankins coming back would mean a lot. Not just his ability, but also his attitude and spark that he brings to the team. That chemistry and spark was so important to the defense last year -- it's one of the keys to taking a squad of regular average guys and having them play above average as a unit. I still think that had he been there in the Rams game it would have been a completely different ball game.
