Do we take advantage of the fullback more than any other team in the league?

I watch a lot of football, but I hardly ever see other teams take advantage of running the fullback and other teams don't seem to have a fullback out blocking for them nearly as much as we do. Perhaps I'm just watching at the wrong times, but I'm just wondering if there are any other teams that use the fullback as much as we do? Payton seems like the only coach that really fully utilizes the position.

Without having the stats to back up such a claim I am pretty sure we do. No matter who we have had at the position it seems like he has always been involved, more in some games than other.

I wish we could get a real runner at the position, a FB that could both block for a TB but also bang out 7-8 runs per game.

Yes, we do.

Every other team wants to pass every down.

You'd think the teams running west coast offenses would utilize FBs, but they don't.

The 49ers have Juszczyk who is injured at the moment. He is probably the best Fullback in the league when healthy. However, I like what Line brings to the table.

The Vikings and the Patriots come to mind. Other teams, not so much. The Chiefs used to use Sherman more but with all the speed on their offense not so much now.
