AJ will be a UFA (unrestricted free agent) in 2020. He's "free" to sign with any team of his choice. Bengals have no rights to him next season.

That doesn’t mean that they can’t franchise tag him. Any player can be that’s a UFA.

Just read a "tweet" from Chris Rosvoglu stating that the Saints tried to acquire Green however the Bengals didn't budge.

That organization may have held him back for possibly getting fitted for a Championship Ring in a few months.

The Bengals franchise are the real losers here. AJ reminds me of Andre Johnson ... great players never ever sniffing a chance at greatness on piss poor teams with no direction.

At least the Saints tried to get better at a position of need.
