we signed alfred fincher to a 3yr deal and de jimmy verndon to a 3yr deal. I'm glad we signed fincher so he could be in camp on time

I'm particularly excited to see Fincher play. Everything I read about this kid is good. Here is a link, but it doesn't really offer much that Ducky didn't cover.

3 yrs is a pretty short contract. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a stud quickly because the Saints are too cheap to resign him in three years if he is. Will Duece, Bently, or McKenzie ever get done by the way? Has anyone heard of any progressions on Brown or Bullocks getting done?

McPherson and the Saints agreed to a three-year, $1.05 million deal with a $125,775 signing bonus, according to McPherson's agent, Leigh Steinberg. The deal is comparable to those signed by other fifth-round picks, but Steinberg believes McPherson, a quarterback who played for Indiana in the Arena Football League last season, will prove he's not the typical fifth-round pick. As a result, Steinberg wanted to keep the deal at no more than three years

I'll bet- I'm glad too, I was reading something on profootballtalk.com that said all the saints draft picks were signed with the exception of Brown. I didn't know we had Lyman signed though, was this just a mistake on their part, or has anyone seen something on this?
