Panthers lookin for some payback

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't feel real good about this game. But, I didn't feel good about the last one either. Is anyone going?...

I'm going. I am in medschool in Charleston, and got my hands on Club seats on the 30 yard line. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a game yet. We win this game, and we may just have the early momentum and confidence we've needed over the years. Plus, winning two games back to back in their house will put mad smiles on my face.

Their wr core looks great right now with the pickup of Rod the Bod, but we seem to have to CB's to put enough pressure for the DE trio to wreck shop on Delhomme just like last year. I love watching the NFL channel's year recap with all the hits we put on Jake the last game of the year.

I think it's going to be a tough game, but no tougher than the '04 finale. What more can the Panthers play for than a shot at the playoffs. Is revenge supposed to hype them more than that? I don't think so. It's hard to say who's going to win at this point not having seen either team play yet this year, but, if the Saints D can somehow learn to stop the run, we have a great shot a winning.

Did you miss a couple Falcons games ?????

Remember Big Mouth Horn and his Crow buffet ???

Too funny ......

Let me help you out :

Last season, Bisher's colleagues at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution took issue with Saints star receiver Joe Horn's well-publicized comments that the Falcons "ain't good enough to be no rival." In the week leading up to the game in Atlanta, columnist Steve Hummer wrote: "If the Falcons-Saints is not a rivalry ... then Coke and Pepsi are kissing carbonated cousins. ... If not a rivalry, it would have to be for the fact that Atlanta is just so plainly better in ways that matter beyond football."

End of the season game and players are banged up badly , sometimes a game slips away and you get all off season to think about it . Just like Carolina did ......

peppers will for sure pressure brooks through the rookie brown but brooks will get rid of the ball quick enough to where it wont matter
But to which team will he throw it to? Grace under pressure is not what AB is known for.
.i dont think peppers is gonna be the game breaker for carolina
SNORT!
Julius Peppers is the new Ray Lewis who was the next Lawrence Taylor.
This guy is an animal!
We win the opener 8) . But to say that Peppers won't be a factor in ANY game he plays in....
Well, I will quote Mike Tyson : "That's Ludicrous."

Halo, We need an "Ear-Biting" Smilie or just some new ones because.....

Re: Panthers lookin for some payback

[

Brown vs. Peppers - Peppers is going to school Brown and set the tempo early as to why he should be the defensive player of the week .

I believe the saint's coaching staff are preparing for that showdown as we speak. Jammal having to practice against Howard & Grant will have him better prepared against Pepper than most people think. If it seem to much responsibility for Jammal alone to handle Pepper, the OC will call alot of plays that will make Pepper irrelevant. The BIG questions will be if Gandy can control Rucker. How strong will the depth be w/injuries to S. Falou and J. Stinchcomb.

keeping the FAITH!

I've only been around here a coupla' months, but I suspect you're giving the coaching staff a little more credit than most folks.
