Anyone else sick of articles and reports?
 

Maybe it's just me, but I can't read them anymore. I try, I see them on Saints report and on ESPN and CNNSI and CBS Sportsline, and here and on other forums and I just can't read them any more. It's overkill. I read about half of it and then it's like I am hearing Charlie Brown's teacher. I am just so damn ready for the season to start. I don't care anymore how player A looks and how player B doesn't. Let's kick the damn ball off and put all this talk into action. I know it's still about a month away, but the reports are killing me. I need the real deal. No more hype, no more speculation, just on the field on Sundays showing what is what. I guess tonight's preseason game is a good start, although I prob won't get to see it. I will read reports after to see how the first team did against Seattle's first team, but damn, can't we just play some football?

I am not sure if I would call it sick of them as much as I would say I am impatient for the games to start (especially the season). When the articles first came out I was in heaven because the sprots page is so boring when most of the talk is baseball -- nascar and golf. Not that there is anything wrong with that but its not football.

I started out in heaven, now I am dying a slow death. I need some real, count in the standings, four quarters mane e mano football. It seems the closer the season gets, the longer it takes to get there. I am just ready for opening day kickoff, us and the Panthers, end of one season, start of another, to be a leg up in the division. It's been long enough. they actually need to cut this preseason crap down two games but it's all good. It's something. Jus please hurry up regular season.
