The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports Saints DT Brian Young injured his left knee in the first quarter against the Patriots Thursday and did not return. DT Willie Whitehead replaced Young in the lineup. HC Jim Haslett said Young is expected to miss a week or two. Saints WR Talman Gardner left the game with a sprained right ankle, and RB Keith Joseph left the game with sprained right ankle. Gardner was injured early in the fourth quarter and was replaced in the lineup by WR Nate Poole. All three players are expected to undergo MRIs today.
