That pass he intercepted would've been caught if Delhomme hadn't screwed up the pass. The receiver had him beat.

I'm happy for the win, jubilant even, don't get me wrong. But I submit that Craft is going to be targeted by opposing teams all year long.

can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

RE: Jason Craft

Hey give E a break, you guys sometimes post some really retarded crap and it was his opinion and we won the game so the entire team did well. For once let's stop pointing out the mistakes, WE WON GUYS.

RE: Jason Craft

Sorry if it offends amie, but the last time I checked this thread was titled "Jason Craft". So it's not crazy that you'll see opinions about Jason's performance in this thread.

Trust me, nobody is *****ing about the win, I assure you.

But failing to discuss the weak points (not jsut the strong points) would make this board fairly pointless, wouldn't it?

RE: Jason Craft

Did'nt offend but if did make me feel bad that we were saying anything negative at all, seeing what everyone from New Orleans and the team has been through in the last week or two. I thought we could all just get along for a few days at least. By the way I thought he did alright too. Did get an INT did'nt he?

RE: Jason Craft

He got the INT, though I think J Williams would've gotten that one too.

All get along?? - lol. Never happen, man, thank god. hehe

Hey, I'm from New Orleans, my house is underwater, I and my family are homeless - and the Saints gave me a VICTORY for week one!!! Trust me, I'm a happy camper right now, whether I think Craft is right for the team or not.

Are you kidding me... The pass was in a good spot in the flat to a WR breaking toward the sideline, the ball was put on the outside of the WR where it should be thrown for that route and Craft was on his man and made a great break on the ball... this is something I have seen him do in camp. He wasn't picked on more than any other DB... I am not saying Craft can or should be a 1 or 2 cb but he's crafty, lol. He is solid with his technique. Had a good take down on one reception...

RE: Re: RE: Jason Craft

An INT is good for me. I'll take that. I give credit where credit is due. The guy made an INT...I have no qualms about him.

I did like Williams...but he was cut...so we have Craft. No bit@h there....the guy had a pick when we needed one. Ok with me.

The pass was in a good spot in the flat..
Sorry man, I disagree. Had the pass been thrown with some zip, yes, it would've been a good pass. But the pass had no zip, it was thrown side-arm by Delhomme because a defender was in his face. It was a duck.

Craft got lucky on that play, and as for making the interception, I feel any decent nickel in the league would've made the same break on that pass. J Williams included. But I also think a better nickel wouldn't have been as far behind before making that break.

I've seen this pattern again and again against different teams, preseason and regular season. Craft has been picked on.

On another play, I can distinctly remember where Delhomme put a receiver in motion. He saw Craft following him. The instant the ball was snapped, he never looked anywhere but there. I don't think that receiver was the normal first check in that play. Rather, I think Delhomme said "hey, I've got Craft in man coverage - yeah, there's my boy." He never looked anywhere else.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't think Craft is awful. It's not that at all. I think he's a viable number three in this league, though just barely. But... I don't think he is any better than J Williams was, and I think Williams had more potential.

can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.
