Round 1
Luke Falk QB Washington State 6032 214 4.87 #4 rSr
Falk stands tall in the pocket and maintains his poise.no matter how busy the pocket gets and he has the arm to make all the NFL throws. Falk rarely rushes his throws. Falk does an excellent job of getting through his progressions. He has an unusually compact release on short throws, allowing the ball to come out quickly and with excellent accuracy. Accuracy on deep sideline throws are top notch. Needs show improvement on anticipating windows in medium throws in between the numbers. He might be the is west coast prospect in the draft. Learning from Drew is just what this kid needs.
He might be the best all around tight end in college football. Not only is he a good receiver, Fumagalli is an excellent blocker and climbs to second level ex termly well. He runs really well for someone of his size, but at 6’6″ he can go up and snatch the ball out of the air. He has natural hands, he doesn’t let the ball get to his chest. But he does need to get better jump balls. High pointing is work in progess. Fumagalli has the size, speed and hands to play in the NFL.
He has experience at both free and strong safety. Tre displays a combination of man coverage skills and range to go along with physicality in run support. He is a strong open-field tackler who can also knock your helmet off if you don’t keep your head on a swivel. He is a well-rounded, smart, rangy safety with excellent length who can also provide solid special teams coverage value. Ball skills as well as ball production needs work.
Spain has been a solid left tackle for North Carolina for the past two seasons. He was improved as a junior and did a good job of protecting quarterback Mitch Trubisky. On the edge, Spain has length and athleticism, but he could stand to continue to get stronger to take on NFL defensive linemen.
Round 6
Deion Harris CB North Dakota 6015 182 4.50 #19 Sr
Deion Harris CB North Dakota 6015 182 4.50 #19 Sr
Lets go for the annual injury pick here. out all of 2017 with a training camp injury. Nothing kills preseason hype like a season ending leg injury. He logged 36 tackles, 14 passes defended and five interceptions. That quintet of picks were tops in the Big Sky conference. Harris returned three of those picks for touchdowns -- most in the FCS last season.
Hill is a bull-rushing, double-team block eating, perpetrator at the line of scrimmage. Thus I chuckle to think he will be here in the 7th as most media scouts think. But heck it is early so wrap a gift in the seventh before game 1 is played
