Davenport and Johns hurt the most if suspended. Otherwise, let Mittenburger start. If JJ started and gets "nervous" throwing some key int's, Mittenburger would come in anyway.

I just spoke with my father on this. He said they have some video of this going down. I hope so, then they can look back at the video years down the road and realize what they throw away.

I'd suspend Jefferson multiple games, red shirt Landry(which is unfortunate as he can make a solid contribution as a true freshman), and I don't really care what happens to the other two. Johns is a special teams player and Davenport is a 5 star bust now reserve G.

I hope Lee grabs the bull by the Horns and takes full advantage of this situation.

Throw them off the team, suspend them, I don't care just get them out of the lineup.

Eyewitness saw LSU's Jefferson kick man in face

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- An eyewitness says she saw LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson kick someone in the face during a bar fight that injured four people last week.

The account from 19-year-old Victoria Long was included in a police report released Thursday, a day after police seized 49 pairs of athletic shoes from Jefferson's apartment. Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Stone wouldn't explain why police took the shoes.

Stone says no arrests are expected Thursday.

Jefferson and three teammates - offensive lineman Chris Davenport, linebacker Josh Johns and receiver Jarvis Landry - were interviewed by police this week about the fight that occurred in the parking lot of a bar were police say numerous LSU players were gathered. Long told police that she also saw Johns attacking the man kicked by Jefferson.

LSU suspends two players indefinitely

LSU starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Josh Johns were suspended indefinitely Friday after turning themselves in to police on charges resulting from a bar fight.

The arrest warrants were issued Friday morning on felony charges of second-degree battery, and the players agreed to immediately turn themselves in to police headquarters.

The charges stem from a fight last Friday outside a bar in Baton Rouge, La.

"Jordan and Josh have been suspended indefinitely," head coach Les Miles said in a statement released by the school.

Disappointed for Jefferson but at the same time, excited for Lee.

He's matured a great deal since his freshman year and got an unfair shake since. I think he's ready. I can guarantee you Rueben Randle is licking his chops.

I think LSU needs to rethink ytheir QB Scouting. If the Guy can Run and scramble but can't throw accuratly and is low in the IQ department maybe you shouldn't recruit them.

I think Mettenburger is ready .... might be a blessing in disguise!
