Suspended LSU QB Jefferson has redshirt season available
BATON ROUGE -- Louisiana State University's suspended quarterback, Jordan Jefferson, faces several possible outcomes regarding the team, depending on how the felony battery case against him proceeds.
Most of LSU's 2011 season, which begins Saturday night in Arlington, Texas, against the University of Oregon, could be gone if Jefferson remains suspended from the team while the case proceeds to a trial.
