LSU vs. Oregon
Big big game... w/o bias(I can't), who ya got?
Just wanted to point out if you put a tiger and duck in a cage together... |
As much as I hate LSU, (in a rivalry sense, of course) I love the SEC. Any time an SEC team is playing someone outside the conference, I am for the SEC team.
So...I will be pulling for LSU. I think that the SEC is so much stronger of a conference that a team can lose their starting QB and still be a force to be reckoned with. I'm not so sure Oregon could say the same thing. The problem is that when something like what is happening to LSU happens...you never know which way the team will go. They can either rally around the back-up and kick butt, or they can droop their heads and get the poop beat out of them. I am hoping for the former. Geaux Tigers! (Bet you never thought you'd see me type that!) :) |
It's going to be a hell of a game ... can't wait to watch...
Lee Corso just picked LSU..... Yoohoo! |
Gonna be a Duck gumbo!

Congrats Tigers.

Smash mouth football... definitely different from years past. Though it was very bland, it was effective and what we needed to do to win the game. We have the backs and meat upfront to do this all year long. I was quite happy to not see those retarded ineffective option plays. You can tell the game was being called by two OL guys... Miles/Stud.

Throw Dat ball !!!

Oregon kind of looked like Tulane.
|
That defence is nasty and will just be getting meaner during the season. It looked like Peterson never left with another 7 out there making big plays. 2 guys that runs for nearly 100yds is a good day for the OL in my book.

Lee made some impressive throws when called upon. I hope the rotating QB era is over for LSU.

Good game - a little sloppy
|
Awesome game to attend, which I was lucky enough to get tickets to.
Game was really close in the 1st half, but then the Tiger line on both sides of the ball took over in the 2nd and wore down the Ducks with the help of turnovers. TM7 seemed like he was everywhere on the field. Stadium is really impressive, but their in-game scoreboard sucks...didn't post the yard line that the ball was on, and didn't give you the number of timeouts each team had left. HD replay screens were awesome. There were so many LSU fans there, I felt like I was back in LA again. |
I only know about 30 people, and 25 of them were at that game. LOL
|
That's not surprising, SF. We even ran into a few people we knew from NO.
