Cornerbacks Tyrann Mathieu and Tharold Simon, and running back Spencer Ware will be suspended for Saturday's game against Auburn, and possibly further, a source close to the situation confirmed to the Times Picayune.
The story was first reported by the LSU student newspaper, The Daily Reveille.
Quoting a different anonymous source, the Reveille website is reporting that Mathieu and Ware failed a drug test and the suspensions could include multiple games.
Ware is the teams's leading rusher with 512 yards and six touchdowns on 128 carries. Mathieu was LSU's leading tackler until last week and has two interceptions, three fumble recoveries and four forced fumbles. Simon is the Tigers third cornerback who plays in nickel situations.
Alfred Blue and Michael Ford are the Tigers next two running backs. Senior Ron Brooks would be the likely replacement at cornerback.

Auburn +21.5... take it while it's hot. It's going to drop to 17 imo... might as well captalize on these idiots. Hopefully they'll be back for the Bama game though I read somewhere LSU's policy against these could possibly cost them that game also. Idiots.
